In this Ministry of Hospitality, ushers are entrusted with instilling a welcoming sense of belonging and aiding in the assembly of the faithful for worship. As one of the first points of contact with Christ the King, ushers should seek to embody the parish mission by celebrating the kingdom of God and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through this great ministry, the lay faithful may come to a fuller encounter with the liturgy.
